oops, had a brain lapse. I was referring to a PS90 not a FS2000. I have not had the privilege of owning an FS2000.

I thought of getting one until I found out they only use proprietary mags that are expensive and hard to get.

What do you mean proprietary mags? They use standard AR/STANAG mags. Cant use a PMAG but you can use a EMAG with them.

As I understand the only reason for the problem with pmags is that there is a rubber seal that keeps dust out in the mag well. I recall people saying they removed the rubber seal and used their pmags just fine.

Shot my co-workers last week. Great gun, accurate and almost no muzzle climb. We shot about 400 rds through it with no problems at all. Would recommend to anyone that is in the market for one.

Yes I have one and I love it...it's fun to shoot and if the SHTF it will be one of the weapons I have handy in my vehicle. :)

ever I ever decided to modify it the only change I'd make would be to upgrade the optic; however, I've not seen a compelling reason to do that.

If we ever get a group shoot together I'd be happy to bring it.

If TGO was like it used to be then someone could possibly get a good deal in my trading skills lol. No offense, but I like the old TGO but totally understand the new

i know the same guy that made the trigger mod for the msar also makes one for the FS2000 which would totally be worth the extra ~$40...made the MSAR a whole new gun. Also im pretty sure the Troy mags will work on the FS2000 which imho are much better than pmags. (yeah I know blasphemy right?)

Nah lol. Thanks for the heads up. The FS im getting has the judo chop metal and factory charging handles. It's also got a PS90 front grip on it. I'll send you pics when I get it.
