I've got a Kidd set at 8oz/1lb and have fired a 3oz/6oz. With the 3/6 you just have to know that you're the only one who's really going to be able to shoot it. Most people apply more than 6ozs. of pressure simply putting their finger on the trigger.

With the 8oz/1lb, once you've taken up the first stage, it really only takes thinking about it to fire the weapon.

Jewell Benchrest triggers for the 700 Platform are 1.5oz to 3.0oz with it factory set at 1.5oz. Way too light for my taste. The one i'm getting is the varmint which ranges from 1.5oz to 3lbs with factory at 1lb.

I have a Jewell on my 700 that came set to 1lb. It's just about right for me. I have a 1lb trigger on my AR that I use for precision stuff too. That's light enough for me to make accurate shots.
