For those that don't know it, Obama has been implying McCain repeating/mis-speaking is due to his age. So, I have to ask, what it his problem??

You have to give people in that position a break. He probably wakes up in a different city every day and rushes through the day. Every word is scrutinized. Think how many stupid things you've said when tired, sick, etc.

Of course that doesn't make his policies any less hideous and the prospect of an Obama presidency any less horrifying.

60 if he has one yet to go.

It is funny but I'm with Rabbi, I'd hate to have somebody filming me that much.

He is the jacka$$ who used McCain stuttering/repeating himself as a chance to imply senility. Thus, he gets ZERO passes for making stupid statements. I used to travel. Home 8 days between August and Christmas. Up and at it by 6 AM in bed by midnight. I'm sure I could get the number of states right under about any condition.

I am by no means an Obama supporter, and it pains me to say something remotely resembling coming the his aid, but is it possible he was making a joke? We all know what dry senses of humor politicians have. I just don't see how in the crap you forget how many states there are.

He stated that he wanted to go to Alaska and Hawaii but his staff would not justify it. Does the staff work for him or does he work for the staff? I thought a person still had to do what the boss wanted if they wanted to keep a job. I guess he doesn't realize that HE is in charge of the people HE has hired to manage his campaign. This just goes to show that you can't fix stupid.

As anyone who travels for work can attest to, every city looks the same. I give them guys a lot of slack for maybe mispeaking about where they are are where they have been types of things.

For me they all looked like a race track, a Cracker Barrel and a hotel room.

Name the city they looked alike to me. I swear once I had to read my credential to know where I was.

He may be in charge, but its like the President and his Cabinet/advisors. He takes advice from them. He might want to go, but its there job to tell him whether its a good idea or not. Going to Hawaii and Alaska is probably not time/financially worth it.

And anyway he won both of those states by a wide margin, so looks like listening to the advisors paid off.

But anyway I agree with the people that say they let others get away with mistakes like that because they barely sleep. A lot of times these politicians don't get to rest for 48+ hours. Its nonstop 1 city to the next, trying to travel an entire state in a matter of 1-2 days. Then onto the next state to do the same thing.

I don't like the fella, but I think it was a joke.

I say all the time, "I work 26 hours a day, 8 days a week," and I say it with a straight face and never miss a beat.

Now is G.W. would have said it........that would be a different story.
