Here is a link to a story about some people in Virginia and how they are trying to demonstrate how carrying in a restraunt doesn't really faze anyone. Maybe King Jimmy outta see this.

Of course one chucklehead that was interviewed was worried about the fact that there were children present...like any kid that watches TV has never seen a gun......

That's one thing, ok maybe the only thing, I miss about living in VA. They were pretty good with the gun laws. No carry permit? Just open carry and go on about your day. Made it pretty nice while waiting for my carry permit, even though that only took an excruciatingly long 21 days to get.... :D

i was traveling from new jersey to memphis ,stopped in a resturant in virginia. there was a sign inside that said check your gun here.i was in shock , there were about six boxes on the wall with handguns in them.since i had no n. j. carry permit at the time my wife and i had dinner and left.i couldnt beleive it. i left n.j. five years later and have never been back.this was in 1978. yes , i was armed.no, i didnt check my gun.

We've been talking about this over on HK94.. VCDL is always pulling a stunt like this. I don't think it helps their cause, but there are others who think it's what should be done.
