Most of the School Board members are bleeding die hard liberals whose decisions over the last forty years has put the schools in the predicament they are in. They don't like suspensions or expulsions. Most principals today are liberals and not disciplinarians. They don't want to deal with discipline problems. It's too stressing. They want the teachers to deal with maintaining classroom order, but if teachers don't get full support from principals on dealing with discipline, then the teacher loses classroom control because students know there are no consequences of their behavior.

Today's Public Relations specialist principals

Principal: Oh Bobby, don't do that again, please

Forty years ago former coach principals

Principal: Bobby, I'm going to give you 4 licks from a paddle, or go home and don't come back without your parents

They also gave detention time after school doing write offs

What is the main difference between private schools and public schools? Discipline. You don't stay in a private school if you don't behave. In public schools, you are allowed to act like fools.

Now I agree that the school system should not be allowed to spank my child. I am the only one who should be allowed to physically punish my child.

But what they should do is require the parent(s) to arrive in person at the school within 2 hours of the call or face fines or maybe jail time. After a parent has to leave work a few times, looses money or even go to jail because of their out of control child then maybe they will take their job as parent more seriously.

I agree, but I will also add that if a parent lays down the law early and often you can avoid some of this crap.

Caster did not. Yes he made a quote from the Bible, but that in it of itself isn't belittling anyone's beliefs or opinions. He was merely making a point that non-believers could still agree with scripture that applies to the thread at hand.

YOU stepped in, highlighted the portion about atheists and suggested they are children and that the scripture applies to them. That is insulting and belittling to those with different beliefs and I don't see why it is necessary. Furthermore, you made these comments and then got your panties in a wad when someone called you out on it, and now in the post above you're all of a sudden claiming victim status for people taking a swipe at your beliefs. Don't start casting stones and then get all pissy when they're cast back at you.

They just announced she was given a 3 day vacation a Disney World. It was all inclusive and included 9 other people. Glad she is getting some happiness out of such a miserable case.

And as I have said time and time again those who behave badly do not just wake up one day and start doing stuff like this. These kids have probably been doing that for a very, very long time. They got so comfortable that they taped it and posted it for all to see. That just shows arrogance on their part and an ignorance on how to be a responsible parent by the parents.

They are also saying these kids are recieving thousands of negative calls regarding what they did. I am going out on a limb but the parents are going to be on TV soon claiming to be be victims and to leave poor little Johnny alone. To that I say you made your bed, enjoy how it feels to lay in in.

I still can't wrap my mind around this. I know it is real but I just can't believe it.
