Serious Self Defense Revolver

I was fooling around with my Dan Wesson 15-2 Monson, MA made .357 again, with some aftermarket parts. This thing is so versatile. A few weeks ago I was shooting 125 yards targets with it and its heavy 6" barrel and shroud. Now it is an easy shooting SD .357 with a 2.5" barrel and heavy shroud. In this configuration it weighs 38.6oz. Currently I have a couple of S&W revolvers and a Ruger, but those are on the trading block. This DW is my perfect .357, accurate, reliable, versatile, it ain't going anywhere, ever.

If this is like the DW of a few years ago, you can't beat it. I had one in 357 & 44 mag. 357 was the best shooting

gun you would need. Wish I still had it.

I don't know much anything about revolvers, but that piece looks like a beast! Sounds like you enjoy it much also!

That is one sweet pistol. Didn't even know they had the heavy shroud barrel in that length.

Anyone own a High Standard .357 Sentinel Mark III. Precursor to the Dan Wesson. Mine is a early 70's model. Need to get me a 2.5 inch barrel.
