Guy's everyone onhere has been accused of having their tin foil hat too tight from time to time but I just received this in my email. http://www.shtfmilitia.com/viewtopic.php?t=1653 I didn't port the other one I received a couple of weeks ago. I thought maybe it was a joke (close to April 1 if I remember correctly).

Not sure where he gets his info but Dang.

8. The necessary and unavoidable merger of the United States with Canada (for it's natural resources) and with Mexico (for its cheap labor pool).

9. The issuance of a new currency - THE AMERO - for all three nations as the proposed solution to the coming economic crisis.

I heard this talked about on Neal Boortz IIRC.

The rest of it sounds pretty far fetched. 4am kidnappings, too many people to grab them all at 4am.

Some of what the guy writes is plausible. But then my tinfoil hat is wrapped tight.

The most fair assumption would be that the truth lies somewhere in the middle, between extreme points of view. I have little doubt that the government is capable of having a 'contingency' involving similar measures... but I do doubt that this is an actual 'action plan' or within the realm of realistically being implemented.

No, that is not the most fair assumption. The most fair assumption when dealing with conspiracy theorists is that they have taken 1 and 1 and gotten 666. There is some grain of fact out there, in a completely different context and totally divorced from how it is being spun, and that becomes the basis for this idiocy.

For example, this quote:

This was only the fourth time in 176 years that Congress

has closed it's doors to the public.

Actually it was the first time in 25 years and does happen for very good reasons. But let's not let actual facts get in the way of a good conspiracy theory.

And when you have to quote Hugh Downs and CNN for your facts you are in deep deep trouble.

Well, maybe we could just take over the Mexican resorts and Pemex.
