Unfortunately not but if it shoots as well as my Romanian M69 you'd be pretty happy with it. Looks great though.

Anyway back to the topic at hand, I've been looking into these a bit today and now have to have one. TGO helps spend my money like no ones business.

That's exactly what it is....a training rifle built to simulate a Mosin.

I read the description after I posted that. Does it have the box magazine or is it only single shot?

Single shot I think. Nothing wrong with that IMO kinda makes you appreciate each shot a bit more having to hand load it.

I have a Vostok CM-2 which is only single shot and I don't mind it. I was just curious to know if it had a mini box mag like the Mosin or not though.

PM me if you want to buy a magazine for the M69. I had lost my two and bought two more. Lo and behold the 2 I lost turned up in my sons range bag. Now I have four of them and would be willing to part with one if you need it.

Why no! We're jus on here shotin the breeze anyway. I probably learn more from a derailed thread than one that isn't; there aren't many that don't get derailed however.

Do a little research on the web and look up the WZ78 Polish Trainers. There were quite a few of them available but the supply seems to have run dry now. I wanted a 48 until I saw the 78. I think I missed the boat on one of those though as there was not many made and no more are available for import.

Those 78s are sweet! Like a cross between the m69 and the 48. I'll definitely be keeping my eye out for one of those too.

I guess derailments aren't all that bad after all.

i personally own a WZ78 that is an amazing firearm to shoot. It's much more accurate than i am, by far the most accurate .22 i've ever fired. if you get the chance to pick one up, do it!

WZ78s in stock now at southern Ohio guns. I know I got myself one and pretty sure someone else on the boards did as well.

Hopefully it's as sweet as it's made out to be.

You'll need either a C&R or other FFL to view firearms on their sight but if you haven't got one your LGS should be able to square you away.

Sorry Nick but as the "someone else on the board" I just got an email stating they dont have any more and none on backorder. Dang I really wanted one of those, should have ordered back in the spring.

Yeah looks like we were a day late dollar short so to speak. Oh well, guess I'll have to buy a bushel of Mosins to make up for it. Too bad, I was looking forward to checking these out.
