Using that dedicated lower like that removes all the benefit I see of an 7.62x39mm AR I see. Sure, you get the better magazine design for shooting that caliber, but you are limited to that caliber.

There was a maker out there that used a modular lower that could use several magazine types. That would be more interesting...

7.62x39 is a good round, however it is not the best for AR platform.

Tight tolerances of bolt and bolt carrier can handle clear gases from 5.56 round.

7.62x39 generates much more residue. Such residue increases friction in moving parts and eventually the bolt lags refuse to go into the grooves.

Reliable 7.62x39 rifle with tight tolerances exists. It is CZ Vzor 58
