"When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic."

Quote from Benjamin Franklin

The longer we continue with these bale outs the great the next economic collapse will be.

Ya know, there are a few folks here whose posts I simply don't read because it makes my BP rise. I would suggest the same for anyone who doesn't like Armyvet's posts.

I love Ron Paul. It just seems the majority of Armyvet's posts are links to some wingnut website video. Ron Paul lost!!! I'd like to see him wrap his head around that and have a normal conversation with us.

Ron Paul may have lost, but his message should not die out.

Something that should never die out.

America is in line for the fall, like the entire economic world. It will be difficult for any country to not feel the effects

of the impending collapse.

I love how folks label others with #### like "wing nut." :shake:

That pisses me off to no end.

Let the man speak his mind and post what he wants without all the usual RP hate-bot posts for once. Is that too much to ask, folks?

Paul is correct. It is not whether we have a financial day of reckoning, that is almost guaranteed. It is a matter of when.

I think some people are tired of thinking about RP on account of they've already made up their minds he can't win. I've said it before and most likely will again but it's a damn shame the vote for POTUS has turned more into a popularity contest than a voice for preference.

Some times I wonder what would happen if everyone who was voting for Romney just to see a win actually did vote Ron Paul. (assuming he was their honest choice) Between his ardent supporters and the others I can't help but wonder...

Well, that's an interesting question you raise and I don't know a good answer to it. At this point in this election cycle,

with his son even endorsing Romney, I think it's high time the elder fall in line and stop pissing on everyone's

flowers, because that is what he's doing. The flowers will die and so will any chance for Romney to beat Obama.

I will definatly agree it's time we got Obama out of office. If that means voting for someone other than my pick so be it at this point.

Say La V right?

It's not that I have any animosity towards him, but the party needs very much to unify against Obama,

just to win. I want Ron to have influence in the platform and any administrative role. He would be good

in taking Bernanke's place, if there is anything left to salvage. Either him, or a man named John Allison,

former CEO of BB&T Bank. Someone like one of them might have the right influence on the economy

if that's even possible, now.

Don't feel bad about Ron. My pick didn't even enter the race, and the ones I wanted that were in, didn't

make it across the line, either. It's a horse race and we didn't pick the "win, place or shows" well, this time.

There still is a clear goal.

Amen!

Ron Paul lost, and unless someone has invented a time machine so that someone can go back and change things it's time to get over it and move on - RP needs to do that and so do his hanger-on.
