those look to be different sizes, but the tech data on their site says the dimensions are the same. The only difference is the weight and the rifling twist.

That site I posted was for an aftermarket barrel specifically for using 9mm in the 40's or 357's

The outer dimension (and the hole in the slide) look to be the same. Obviosly, the hole in the barrels are different size. The G32 barrel just drops into the G23. The good news for me... I don't think they make a G32 in Gen 4 yet.

I THINK (... need to check to be sure...) that all the 9/357/40 barrels will interchange between families (...families: baby, compact, full size...). To convert ya need a conversion barrel (...that fits your family...), magazine, and (...maybee...) a recoil spring. The other series is the 10 mm and 45 gap/acp series. Two slide sizes. 9mm/357/40 and 10mm/45gap/45acp.

I love the .357 Sig round; my usual daily carry is a G31.

I do recommend that you buy ammo in bulk whenever possible; it's not an inexpensive round to shoot.

If I buy a barrel, I'll buy reloading dies too. Calibers like this are the reason I got into reloading. I don't own a set of 9mm dies, and probably never will.

Cost of ammunition is why I reload 357 Sig, also. My reloads are for pratice and buy my carry loads. I use a Dillon 550 with a set of Dillon 357 sig dies.

I use a Berry 124 g truncated bullet or Hornady's 124g hp and am trying 3 different powders: Accurate, Titegroup, Clay's Universal at around 1200 fps.

Big fan of .357 sig. Have a 239, 229, & 226. All three have 40 and .357 barrels.

Took forever to find a nice used g33. Not sure why I didn't get a 27 and a barrel... Baby glocks are the only ones that I shoot worth a darn. The grip angle on Glocks generally dont work for me but dropping my pinky right to the bottom of the mag shifts it enough for me to shoot comfortably.

Trade off just about daily with the 33 and the 239. Both shoot like lasers for me.

Reloading is where it's at for this round. I shoot longshot and MG 125's for practice and have some 125 GD's loaded with AA #9 when I want to heat things up a bit. Ranger T 125's are loaded in all the mags for carrying.

You can get close velocities with 9 +P+ but you will beat the gun up if you do it a lot. Better to use slides and springs designed for it.
