I'd say the likelihood of a radiological disaster there is pretty nil. A lot of things have to go wrong for large quantities of radiation to be released.

That plant's on a beautiful stretch of Lake Michigan shoreline. Biggest beach I've seen on the lakes.

I used to play in the warm water that they pumped back in to the lake when I was younger. It was the only place that you could swim all year long. I remember swimming on New Years eve, It was 20 degrees out and the lake was frozen other than around those pipes, The water was about 75 degrees. I guess that is why I glow at night!
