My wife finally took her carry class

She was very worried she would not pass the shooting part. The instructor is a friend of mine and insisted she bring home her target to show me. I don't think she needed to worry. :pleased:

I thought the target was mandated as the standardized silhouette type, whatever it's called? (good shooting)

Looks great! Congrats to your wife. Had scheduled for my wife to go a few times but scheduling conflicts kept occurring and then we had a baby so I'll get her scheduled again at some point.

Excellent Job. My wife has been thinking about it lately. She is starting to become concerned of some of the violence she has heard over the news lately. I've heard there are more and more women obtaining their carry permit. When I went through the course back around November of 2008, about half the class was females.

Congrats to her. My wife has her permit and its a great feeling knowing she has some protection when she goes out. I just have to ask her sometimes, you are taking your gun? Sometimes she says I'm just going a few miles away and I'll ask her what if your car breaks down? She's starting to carry it more now and I'm glad.

BTW, your wife did some good shooting.

My wife took the course last week through Franklin Gun Shop. I thought they did a great job teaching, and she impressed me with her shooting (especially considering she has no real experience).

Now I have to convince her to actually get her permit. She has no desire to.

Congrats to your wife!

Congrats! My wife has the same fears. She keeps telling me I need more practice. So I encourage her to go to the range more than once a month.

Mine is supposed to take the class in 2 weeks and is nervous about the shooting part. Going to show her this pic, practice make perfect...
