My economic stimulus check at work:

GSG-5.jpg

I have a new money sewer on my gun rack... I want to turn this one into an SBR and stick a real can on the front end. Hey Joe, do you feel economically stimulated now? *cackle*showphoto.php?photo=1124

That thing was so nice to hold. You made the right choice in getting it. All of the peer pressure didn't hurt either.

You lucky SOB, how's it shoot?

Ask me again in a week when I've taken it to the TGO meet in Kingsport. Don't have time to take it to the range before then.

Hey! I fondled that gun today!

Well, as long as you weren't doing other things with her I suppose I won't tell your wife about it... But you've been warned! :ugh:

Haha...and the little devil on his shoulder whispered "buy it, buyyyyy...it"

There were two of you trying your hardest to convince me to buy it. You're leaving out the redheaded one with a thing for pink accessories.

I can't wait to test one of these things out. Pending that I will have to get one.

I have yet to lay eyes on one of these, but if I get one I'll definitely have to get it SBR'ed and threaded for an eventual suppressor. Let us all know how she shoots.

It's a fun piece to shoot. The usual batch of about half a dozen FTE's or so since it was brand new, but it eventually settled down after about 200 rounds. The trigger's nice and smooth, but I think it's a bit heavy. Nobody really seemed to have any trouble hitting an 8" Shoot-N-See from 25 yards. It's not a 10/22 target rifle... but there is no recoil to speak of, and hardly any muzzle climb, even when you're pulling the trigger as fast as you can. It's an accurate plinker. And it'll probably be quite a bit better with an optical sight.

I haven't picked up a low profile claw mount and a red dot to put on it yet, but that's on my list of things to do. Along with talking some more with Joe about the best options for what suppressor to use after I get the SBR conversion done.

I like that and have always wanted a HK clone. been thinking about getting a 9mm version but that 22lr would be a lot cheaper in the long run lol
