If you have an old flag that needs to be "honorably retired" check around your local community to see if a veterans group will be accepoting flags for proper disposal. My American Legion has a ceremony this Saturday for the communioty. We will handle te propoer disposal for them.

I'm a big believer in Flag Day. I always thought people flew their flags to celebrate my birthday. Come to think of it, I still do.

+1 NRA Everyday (and night) is a flag day at my house. Finally bought a saucer-shaped, 20 LED light for the top of my pole so I can leave it flying 24 hrs.
