My transformation is now complete. :D

Visited Hero Gear this morning and traded the HK P2000 off and picked up a J-Frame for my wife and also a GLOCK 19 for me. I can pretty much assure you that this is a sign of the apocalypse and that you should consider getting right with Jesus before you finish reading this post.

I have always liked the glock 19. Lots of bullets in a nice gun especially with those evil 30 rnd magazines.

Ahhh, my defensive handgun of choice...better than a lightsaber.

I would trade them both for the Vader Death Grip, though.

If only I could choke assclowns from across the room...

I've been carrying a Taurus 24/7 Pro that I picked up from Rabs a while back. I really like it... but do you remember the thread I posted about having a tough time keeping my pants up? Well, I broke out my old G19 yesterday and carried it all day, no problem. I got home, and thought I'd break out the scale my wife uses for eBay. I weighed all my carry options, and they all were around 2lb 7oz to 2lb 14oz. The G19? Rig and all was 2lbs, even.

I'm back to old reliable...

Comp-Tac sends free Smarties with every purchase. Or maybe you get a free holster with the $60 Smarties. I dunno. They came with the kydex body for my MTAC so that I could swap out the HK kydex for the Glock kydex.

It's bad juju to mix Glock and HK kydex you know.

True story: Joe gave me 15% off of "ass" according to the invoice. But then he made Rod consummate the sale. Frankly I was a bit let down. Rod is hot and all, but he's not a "high speed operator" like Joe.

Really, what's a guy got to do? :drama:

Just ordered the kydex body for one of my existing MTAC holsters. I was planning ahead. Also had some Ameriglo "Operator" night sights ready for it. I'm sneaky like that.

When I rented a Glock 19 at the local indoor range a week ago, it was like slipping on a comfortable pair of old shoes. I remembered why I liked my G23 so much. It may not be the best gun in my collection and it's definitely not the best gun ever made, but I shoot them really good so that's all that matters to me. :D
