Any safe is better than no safe but whether this is a good buy for you depends a lot on what you want it to do for you as well as the value of what you are trying to protect (and I'm not just talking about $$ value). If you are looking for really good fire and theft protection, this can get you by but not where you would want to stop.

One rule of thumb with safes, too big is probably not big enough. Another is, always buy the best one you can afford at the time.

I have a TSC Cannon safe and it's fine. It won't take long for someone to say it's a POS, but you know your risk. Do you have an alarm? Cell phone backup? etc. I decided my risk didn't require at 2-3K safe.

Yeah right now I have a stackon 14 gun gun-cabinet. Its just the sheet metal style no insulation or anything. And i have outgrown it. it was great when i only had a few but now i have about a dozen with a few 1000 rounds. just looking for something to move to around the 500 mark being that is my gun budget right now.

How did you get it delivered and what did delivery cost, if you don’t mind me asking?

It might have been as much as $100.00. It was delivered by a Wilson County Firefighter. He delivered safes for the Hermitage TSG on the side.

Bolt it down.

Absolutely!
