Don't forget - Saturday the 9th is Free Fishing Day

Tomorrow is the one day a year that you can go fishing without a license. Also, kids ages 13-15 can fish without a license from Saturday through Friday, June 15th.

Awesome program...

I did notice this.. and not sure if that is just us or its because we fish from the shores most of the 6time..

When we where stationed in Alabama... even the small lakes or tributaries , we had way better luck with catching stuff.. large mouth, small mouth and catfish..

Maybe we just cant find the right places to go but i think fishing was a bit better in Alabama.. we could catch stripers and Drum all day at the Dams

Where in Alabama? I love fishing there too. I'm from Alabama and all my family is there.

I took the kids to the new pond at the park by the river in Clarksville this morning. They had a kids fishing derby. I think most at least had a bite so they had fun. My older son, 7, struck out but his little brother (5) caught two keepable channel cats. Not too bad of a morning for the family.
