I really don't see it happening for either anytime soon. Just on my wish list.

But maybe we could get one of our carry friendly legislators to draft a bill. - see early post in this section

True...and while I can't find it right now. I remember someone in another thread forwarding a copy of bill in another state to a pro-gun Rep here and he said it was interesting and he would look into it. I think it may have been Ben West who has been very friendly to us, might be worth following up with him next session.

It should still be a fight to consider after getting restaurant carry.

I have posted this before, but I will post it again.

I do not believe that theses are gun haters that are putting up the signs. They are business owners that are doing so in a feeble attempt to help cover their azz in a shooting gone bad.

Making this a fight is a good thing, but you need to know who and why you are fighting. The first thing we need is legislation that gives absolute immunity to the business owner and makes the shooter the only one civilly liable for their actions.

I doubt this will happen because the lawyers would be giving up the “deep pockets†of a civil suit. But it is worth a try.

Oh… and I don’t think we should wait for restaurant or bar carry to pass before addressing this issue. :(
