Sig Sauer STS-081 Opinions?

My wife is wanting to get me something for my birthday and I can't think of anything, but I did find a Sig Sauer STS-081 for $89.95 from BoTach Tactical. I was thinking of replacing my EOTech with one of these.

Anyone bought anything from BoTach Tactical?

Anyone using one of these, and are they worth a damn?

Well I guess I have to go with another place anyways because BoTach isn't showing it's available. Bummer because locally I found one at TN Gun Country for 169$, with my discount there I'd be just under 170$ out the door. I'll look into the Bushnells, I have them on my promotive discount account.

I melted the insides out of one of the Sig red dots a while back. It was mounted on an AK74 Ultimak rail.

It had terrible battery life as well.

I have promotive also. But after you pay state sales tax and shipping it is more money than the Amazon price by more than $20.00.

The promotive has not paid off for me yet. I have found items a lot cheaper on line for what I have compared so far.

I really like my Bushnell TRS-25 for the money. Magiccarpetrides above turned me on to it.

Got one of the TRS-25 models in a gun buy and have to say it seems quite sturdy. Not getting a whole lot of rough treatment on an AR15-22 though.

The Sig red dot is garbage. One came on my old 556. I have a lower regard for them than EOTech and that's saying something.

Well I think I'm going to give the Bushnell a go, it seems to have good reviews in other places as well and I can't bring myself to have my wife spend the 400 I found an Aimpoint R-1.

Just to throw one more in the mix, I have a Primary Arms red dot and have been very pleased with it and they seem to get good reviews.
