Gallatin Gun IDPA Match 6/9/12

Gallatin Gun Club will host an IDPA match on June 9th. Set up is 7:00 AM, start time is 9:00 AM. 64 round mim. 4 stages. Match fees are $15 for non-members, $10 for members, $10 for second gun, $10 for child under 18.

Stages one and four will be reshot with rifle as a side match, 30 rounds min. Also did mention that stage four has 2 pistol targets set out to 35 yards.

When I did the 35 yard shot I had a big popper and a little popper. I think you were there Mark.

Paper is something different. You'll need a spotter.

Oh Yea...., I recall that shot. Steel sure made it easy to score.

Now that I'm using Prescription Inserts to see my front sight again - - - those far shots on paper have become a real issue!

But..., I sure do appreciate all of the work that Robert does for the GGC and can fully understand why he might not want to haul all of that steel over to bay 4.

Weather should be great this weekend according to www.weather.com. I either going here Saturday or to Dickson(or Sunday) to setup the match for next weekend. Robert puts on good tough matches and it will be worthwhile for a new shooter to see what they need to work on weakness wise.

Will there be a COF posted here or on the Gallatin Gun site? I will be there tomorrow. Shot my Classifier last Saturday with the MCTS's, great group of guys. See ya there.
