I wonder if the guy who shot him was a permit holder? The story doesnt say.

NewsChannel5 is reporting he did in fact have a permit. They are also reporting that at least one of the four shots he fired went through the glass door of an occupied apartment.

The residents of said apartment were very understanding, and said "he had to do what he had to do."

They updated the article. When I posted it it didnt say this.

Looks like after more info has come in, he was a permit holder. Thats good to now. Sucks he put a few rounds through someone's window, but thankfully no one but the BG was hurt.

I agree, and I am going to shoot as well as I can under the circumstances, but if I am in a life or death situation and there are others around, I'm still gonna shoot. Not really much of an option otherwise.

Ive dont carry yet, but ive been cussed at once at a gas station cause i wouldnt give some crazy dude a ride. Glad he finally walked away and didnt try anything cause i was unarmed. Not even a pocket knife on me.
