If I read the pinned forum post correctly about prohibited carrying then this is not correct since it would need the wording included or do they only need the symbol? Being a new carrier I thought I'd see what you guys had to say and if anyone could post a few examples of correct postings.

So far in my travels this is the only sign I've come across and it's posted at the BB&T off of Treasury Drive in Cleveland right at the very bottom of the door. To be honest I wouldn't really expect a bank of all places to be welcoming to someone carrying a firearm... but are there banks out there that aren't bothered by it?

Thanks guys.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I understood it had to be the circle slash or the legal language (or close to it). This one would be legal but a sign that simply reads "no guns allowed" would not be.

One thing to add, this doesn't cover all of the banks property. In order for a business to post the parking lot the sign would have to be at all entrances that people use to enter.
