A couple of weeks ago I found some ingots on armslist. The guy wanted $1.25 per lb. I asked, if I buy enough will I get free shipping?

NO!

I went to one tire store, They had a 5 gal. bucket maybe 3/4 full. I asked about it. $50 for a full bucket, But you'll be on a waiting list.

I went to another store. They had a 2 1/2 or 3 gal. bucket about half full. I asked, he wants $100 for a full bucket.

I went to a scrap dealer, He wants $1.05 per lb. for wheel weights. Some nice looking molded pure lead pieces for $1.20 per lb.

I'll find a better deal.

I have 1 maybe 2 bucket of wheel weights I will sell for $40.00 per bucket.

I can get more if needed.

You guys should have been putting it away a long time ago. I've been working on a small stash for a while. I always say after smelting a pile, "Yeah, that'll do me" but in truth, I'll never quit ferreting it away.

Okay, I am a plumber and occasionally remove lead traps/pipes/etc. Should I start saving this like I do scrap copper and brass?
