ROMNEY'S VP CHOICE?

I'm still hearing that name, also. I really don't care who he picks, except Rubio. He would be great, but the senate needs to go red,

and that might hurt that prospect. The trouble with a lot of choices is, it causes a net loss where we really need net gains everywhere.

Otherwise, I'm easy with most anyone for VP, as long as they can help deliver votes in battleground states.

We really need to get rid of Harry Reid as senate majority leader. Bad!

I am hoping for Condoleezza Rice. Smart and experienced. She would make Joe look like the fool he is. She seems to be upfront and straight forward.

Never heard of this guy but that don't mean anything. I'm sure the MSM is searching his background now to come up with some type of slanderous allegations.

+1 on Pelosi's pet bitch, he needs to go bad and we need the gain the Senate.

That would save us a lot of grief in case the savior gets re-elected. Impeach how many would be the question, then.

Rice would be okay, too. anything that's all-inclusive to win, I can support. Giving up on one part to win the presidency

won't cut it. i would prefer solid conservative creds on the VP.

Rice is too liberal IMO. A strong conservative VP pick sure would help the cause.

Portman may be alright? Let the vetting begin and we'll see.

Personally, Allen West would be my pick.

He could bring Ohio!!! And he is very experienced and he won’t spend $100,000 on clothes in two months! The goal this cycle is “safe, not sorry. But win Ohio!â€

I noticed that slap at Palin. What a jerk. Like her or not, she did a lot for grass roots conservatism, and she has taken a bunch of crap over the years too.

In regards to VP, I don't really have a preference outside of not Christie. Whoever he picks, I will still be voting for Romney anyway because I really don't have much of a choice.

You do realize that the entire nation, including conservatives, laugh hysterically at Palin right? The ONLY thing she EVER had going for her was her stance on the 2nd amendment.

Mr President: Are you really interested in taking a demotion to Vice? After your long and illustrious career?

Not quite true. A lot of pundits trash her, but I

don't guess I get my news from the same place as you.

Sarah is playing a pivotal role in this election already

and she doesn't care about the media. I'd take her as

a VP or President any time. She saw her own shelf life

because of the media bashing and took herself out

of any contention.

I also hear that Tennessee is the "laughing stock of the country" because we are supposedly one of the states with lax gun control, but the only ones really saying that are the "enlightened" progressives, so it really doesn't mean anything.

Usually, the ones who love to slam Palin hate her because she has strong conservative values. Says more about them than it does about her.

I agree. Palin was the victim of a concerted well choreographed media assault. She still stands. That says a lot about her imho.

It does no good to trash Sarah Palin. It makes her stronger. I remember her telling McCain that she wanted to

campaign in Michigan. McCain and his handlers didn't want her to go up and campaign. You just don't give up!

Never give up. She is that kind of person and deserves praise for getting him as close as he did. Without her

energy and strong will he wouldn't been a "show". She is a foundation for the Tea Party to take over and reshape

the Republican Party into something people can embrace with enthusiam.

It takes bold people like her to induce and flush out the progressives. I guess you can tell I love that woman. She

has more strength than Reagan, and I'm sure she is a leader with the right motivations. She loves this country.

That's important. Ad the fact that she is definitely a woman takes the steam out of the Democrats hold over the

issues of a woman in leadership. Geraldine Ferraro was the spark before her and she was a breath of fresh air

to the Democrats, way before her time.

DITTO here too. Sarah is a breath of fresh air for the conservative movement. :usa:

I hope but doubt that Romney would use her in his administration..

Bad lie, we do not have "lax gun control". We have one of the worst gun control laws in the Nation, the "intent to go armed' law is one of the few remaining Jim Crow laws left on books anywhere!

As long as our Legislature is controlled by the Moderate/Liberal wing of the Republican Party we will remain in thrall to those who deny what our Constitution demands of those who are supposed to serve us, yet hold us slaves to their own interpretation of what they believe should be the controls on our lives, while refuseing to provide for safety and security of the individual Citizen.

Of course it is our own fault, for being complacent and refusing to get involved with our own governance, as the Constitution mandates.

I'd rather see Allen West as the VP. I like him a lot!

What a quandary for about 13% of the electorate, too, eh? Or would the commie black man still garner most of the votes over a patriot black man?

I didn't heard many talking heads discussing Portman today, maybe I missed it or it's not news compared to Obozo insulting the Pol's, and Romney pointing out our tax dollars wasted on Solyndra's bankruptcy. :waiting:

The handful of dolts who watch MSNBC does not equal the entire nation.

As is the usual case, I imagine there are more white voters who like Allen West than black voters. Sad that your

quandry is correct.
