ATF consider banning "military" style shotguns

Yep old news, but it did drive the price of Saiga 12's from the $400-$500 to near the $900 and over mark! At least price has come down, but availability has still kept the price higher than it should.

The military and police tend to use pump action "riot" style guns, not semi-autos, for shotguns, from what little I have seen of actual usage of shotguns (not terribly common for military, common enough for police). Unless I missed something??

I did check snopes before I posted and nothing came up but I knew if something was to it this would be the place to find out.

And also the first gun that came to mind was the sagia.

ATF dealings are a bit too esoteric for Snopes
