Two I use a lot, and I keep dried Ghost Chili's on hand.

Never seen or even heard of these two, but definitely like the look of them :) and I'm glad I'm not to see I'm all by myself here :D

As for wasabi.... wow... I don't even know what to say about that stuff. So many different flavors and things going on I think my brain popped. I only tried it one time and left it at that.

There's a place where I stocked up on some sauces and got some beef jerky while I was by the Bass Pro shop in Sevierville called the Beef Jerky Outlet. I spent about $100 by the time I left the place on jerky and sauces :surrender: Some really great tasting jerky though! Especially the Fire on the Mountain jerky.

It's the only place of its kind I've come across locally. If anyone knows of a place like it, especially in the Chattanooga area, I'd love to know.

I have planted a few Trinidad Moruga Scorpions and am growing them in a controlled enviroment (hot and dry) look forward to trying the they are said to have a lot of flavor tending toward the sweet side and are hotter than the gohst chili. We will see :pleased:

I grew some of the prettiest orange habaneros a couple of years ago. A close friend says to me "Oh wear gloves, use an Xacto knife and surgically remove the seed pod without disturbing it. The flesh of the pepper isn't anywhere near as hot and it has a nice fruity flavor."

......yeah, screw you!

Have yet to find a Tabasco product I didn't like and I'm especially fond of Tabasco Garlic (yeah, I know - Tabasco is for lightweights who'd rather drink vinegar than have real flavor, but I like it anyway). Tapatio runs a close second for me. Not a big fan of red pepper - or even black pepper for that matter - but I do like fresh chili peppers.

Years ago, down in Polomas, Old Mexico, there was a little cafe I used to frequent that served some kind of homemade green sauce. I still don't know what was in it and I'd still give two weeks pay for the recipe, but it started off tasting almost like sweet relish and the heat gradually crept in - almost unnoticed - until you were sitting there sweating and with tears running down your cheeks and you just couldn't quit eating the damn stuff! The main course would come - usually a steak that would've cost forty bucks in the states, but ran about three ninety-five down there - and in between bites of steak, you'd still be dipping homemade tortilla chips in this amazing green sauce. God, that was the hottest stuff I've ever eaten - I'd suffer for hours afterwards - and I'd give my right arm to have a gallon jug of it right now!

Prince's Hot Chicken!!! Rocks!

(And I hear through the grapevine there's a place in Hendersonville in the old ratty Walton Mall on Walton Ferry that is even better... gotta check it!)

It's Moore's Fried Chicken. I love that place. Word to the wise, place your order via telephone about an hour before you plan on walking in the door. The owner is the only employee, and he stays swamped.

Never tried Prince's, but I want to.

i love hot sauce. I have a bottle of one of the hottest ones around. Its called 357 Mad Dog. I order it from here. http://www.hotsaucew...7maddoghot.html

This sauce is not a joke, one drop, and I mean one drop will almost ruin a bowl of chili. YouTube 357 Mad Dog hot sauce and it will give ou a good understanding of it. I rarely use it, I have to be in a wanting to hurt kinda mood. I also have a few ghost pepper hot sauces I use for everyday use. All the way down to the good ol Tabasco.

On a side note, read the reviews of the sauce in the link above, they help put it into words as well.

I have some as well, yes its hot. Too hot.

Another one I enjoyed that had a nice mix of heat vs flavor was Scorned Woman. My friend kept telling me about it and I decided to buy me and him a bottle when I found it. Really good stuff.

Wow, my old boss (since retired) used to talk about that being his favorite. He was the only one I ever heard of using it. I may need to pick up a bottle and give it a try.
