Bring your notes along when you come - maybe I can learn something from myself!

Ya'll kill'n me....this stuff is on my "Bucket List"! I can't hardly take the tease! Is this a trout fishermans version of a "lap dance"?...lol!

Of course, for the rainbows, you can use about anything that looks like TWRA trout chow.

Thing is, I've caught quite a few wild 'bows and they haven't become addicted to trout chow yet - for those interested in catching hatchery fish I always suggest a "size 16 pinky" (garlic flavored salmon egg). And I managed to stop myself before I gave away my secret weapon for the big browns in the stretch above Clear Water shoals.

Speaking of "pink", yeah, it is nice to get a wild rainbow (pink flesh, gotta love them bugs!), and they are out there !

As you hint, the lunkers are entirely a different matter. They didn't get that size by snarfing up the yellow bits of Jolly Green Giant, did they ?

I thought you was gonna give up the real secret.......it's a few posts back (sorta), but a lot bigger. Big fish, big bait.

Caught my biggest brown while fishing for what ya'll down here call rock fish (stripers). (I was using a 4 inch plug painted to look like a rainbow fingerling.)

Pat and I got a great, if inadvertent, laugh yesterday when I was sending these pics to a long-lost but recently re-found friend up home in Kansas; All of them came through except the pic of Pat and the pic of the 'bow in my net... those two said "File too large."

I told Pat, "Yep, you know you've caught a big fish when even the file is too large! ...On the other hand, you might wanna' lose a few so's your pic doesn't overload my phone!"

Good times... goooood times!

Oh, and Dave - Sorry I didn't call last night, we ended up going to the Anderson County Fair about two hours after I got off the river. Since my phone is nearly dead and the charger is in the truck, it'll probably be tomorrow evening before I can give you a holler, if that's okay?
