New to the Ripley/Henning area

I figured since I was new to the Ripley/Henning area I thought I'd drop a post to see if there were any other Ripley/Henning folks on the forums.

I haven't found any local places to shoot as of yet, so any suggestions as to what ranges I should look into would be welcomed, heck I might even buy you some lunch or something.

Ok after a bit of research I have found a couple of shooting ranges about an hour or so from here that sound interesting, one is near Memphis, the other near Jackson.

The one near Jackson is called Tennessee Sports Foundation & it is a small private range, membership cost is fairly reasonable ($50 initiation fee + $75 a year dues) but they don't host a lot of shooting events.

The one near Memphis is called Memphis Sport Shooting Association & it appears to be a much larger club, membership costs are on the high-end ($400 initiation fee + $240 a year dues + $30 background check) but they offer a much wider range of events.

Is anyone a member of either of these places? I am curious to learn a bit more about them before I commit to joining one or the other.
