No new trial for Christian/Newsome murderers

Those of us who take life, liberty and personal responsibility seriously. (Read that as those of us who actually raise our children with values to become conscientious, productive members of society instead of turning them over to the freakin' welfare state for someone else to raise because they're too gawd-damned lazy to get off their butts and actually take responsibility for what they've produced...anybody can spend a few minutes bumping uglies and create a child, it takes a parent to create a decent, useful person!)

Agreed! I think they ought to do to these monsters what they did to those two poor kids! And I further think that the families of these monsters should be made to suffer in the same way the Christian and Newsome families have suffered. God, what a needless tragedy!

I would not want the families to be allowed to torture these animals. Not for the animals sake but for the family's sake. Stuff as horrendous as that can be hard to get out of your mind and can affect you for a lifetime.

With that being said if the families want to, I think they should be allowed to do pretty much whatever they want for the same amount of time their children were being tortured. I am sure during the trial they saw some horrendous photos of their loved ones so they are probably numb at this point for various reasons.

Personally I could live with myself if I were allowed to exert some justice if someone killed my child. I consider myself a pretty compassionate person but can be brutal when I need to be.
