You can not become a President, Congressman or Governor without a ton of money. The majority of that money comes via, special interest groups, lobbyists, liberal media, Hollyweird, and corporate America. They don't dole out that kind of money out of the goodness of their hearts. They give it for political access, programs and laws that favors their agendas..

Technically, the politician is beholden to the campaign contributors, and not what's best for America or it's constituents. At present, there's many more lobbyists on Capitol Hill than Congressmen. It's become a corrupt and socialistic Nanney state.

With precious few exceptions, it's an oxymoron using two words like, "Honest - Politician". Ron Paul and Zell Miller being in the few.

I never said Bush did it. The repubs were in power in florida at the time so their appointee controlled the voting process.
