Desktop Background: US Flag w/AR15

Recommended Posts

OK, I tried. It's not perfect though.

I spent all night trying to get the light just right to get a good desktop photo of my AR 15.

It's not as easy as it looks with crappy lights at home that are all different wattages, fluorescent, incandescent, etc. Plus the camera flashes were another source of light I had to deal with.

Spent $30 on the 4ft x 6ft USA made flag to do this! :usa:

Like?

Right click save as if you want it. Then right click on the image and make it your desktop background.

Look good to me. Looks like the depth-of-field is a tad shallow. The flag is in focus but parts of the rifle aren't sharp.

I shot this one hand held with my wife's camera and I think I forgot to set the aperture to F/8.

I've got tons of shots of it I can edit made with my camera where I had it at F/8 to F/13. Those should be tack sharp.

I'll go through them later and will post a new version. :)
