New vs Used

We all know how much to pay for a new gun. The Internet allows for fast access to the best going price, so negotiating with a shop or dealer at a show is easy because we / they all know what the going price is.

My question is how much of a discount is expected when buying a used gun? I find that many times the guns are up for sale for a very slight discount from the original price. Every gun is going to be different. I'm just looking to see what everyone else's thoughts are.

Depends on the gun and condition. The biggest discount is the lack of tax and TICS on the private sector. In a store it all depends on what the shop had to give for it and unlike the new guns that is not a fixed cost

I agree that the discount is usually small. Sometimes I have found some really good deals, one has to keep their eyes open for what they want. Last time I was looking for something, I checked internet sites daily until I found the gun and the price I wanted.
