I have this friend in Commifornia. Back in th mid 90's she put forth a theory that the government was going to make eveything illegal so they could send us all to prison. Then the prison workforce would be farmed out to GM.

After hearing the recording she sounded black. The "off with pay" might have something to do with her union contract as Mike mentioned above.

I'm surprised the kid didn't face punishment. I remember a while back a kid recorded an out of control teacher and was suspended for having her cell phone in class.
