Thought this was kinda odd on the "Must be re-elected"

Happened to be browsing through Yahoo this morning when checking my e-mail and happened across this article: http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/cory-booker-slams-obama-ad-attacking-romney-bain-200058987.html

I had some hopes at first, until I read the "Yes, Obama must be re-elected. But we as a Nation owe it to him and ourselves to reject politics as usual."

What's everyone's take on this article?

Someone asked my sister during the 2008 election why she wasn't voting for Obama. They said to her, "don't you think you owe it to him?" HUH???? WHAAA????

Hell to the NO!

Owe it to him for what?

I assume for being (partially) black and something along the lines of, "...children, play nice now, let everyone have a turn..." (whether they're qualified or not!)

Black leaders qualified for President - Condoleeza Rice, Michael Steele, Herman Cain, Alan Keyes, Colin Powell, Thomas Sowell, Clarence Thomas, many, many others.

Obama was severely unqualified. Voted 'present' more than yay or nay. Never accomplished anything. He was merely raised and groomed for insertion into politics. He has no substance. Narcissism is his forté.

That was partially sarcasm. In politics it isn't let everybody have a turn, it's who's qualified and who's not. Though everybody should have a turn in terms of voting them out as needed. Because like diapers, politicians should be changed often and for the same reason.

I have no problem with his statement in context. He wasn't talking about owing the Presidency to Obama, but rather the use of "politics as usual" as a characterization of Obama's campaign. Really think there is nothing there. Sometimes reading between the lines just gets you stuck in a rut. ;)
