Does that thing have a safety....?

Recommended Posts

My fiance and i went to an annual carnival in Columbia this weekend and her and i decided to ride the ride that you lay on your belly in a "hang-glidding" position and it flies you around in circles. But anyway, as I layed down on it waiting to strap in, the ride operator came over and asked "does that thing have a safety?". I was lost for a second and realized my shirt has ridden up a little as I lay there stretched out. Me not really thinking, I just said "yeah it's a Glock". He kinda just tilted his head and said....ok... I guess I am just so used to talking to my gun buddies and coworkers that I just assumed that the carny new how a glock works. I felt kinda dumb. I should have just said yeah the safety is on.
