New York?

I'm originally from NY state and am completely convinced that I will NEVER move back north, especially to NY after living in the south for the past three years. I'm tired of the legislation in NY controlling just about every aspect of our lives. Can't buy a pistol without having a permit first. Yet alone shoot one. No rifle magazines are legal if the can hold over 10 rounds. What? Are these people serious?

I go on leave in about a month and have to travel to NY to see family... UNARMED with my family because NY does not recognize pistol permits from any other state. I guess my anus club will have to do.

NY is not a free state. Used to live there, still have tons of family up there. One is a NYC LeO, moving down here in July, they are sick of it. It was an ok place to live back in the 60's and early 70's, but gorget it now. Upstate is still nice, but communist laws cover the entire state unfortunately, not just the communist city of NYC.

I lived upstate. Looking back at it not its terrible. You know you have to register a damn canoe before you can take it on the water? What are some laws you can think of that are just straight up commi?

I lived upstate, in Rome, back in the early 70's when I was stationed at Griffiss Air Force Base. It wasn't what i was expecting at all. My naieve self was expecting it to be all concrete and skyscapers, lol. It was nice with lots of woods and the people were ok too. Back then I wasnt as aware of personal liberties and freedoms as I am now.

I lived in Corrupticut for 6 years. There is something in the water up there.

Beautiful country,great food, I have met some great people up there but I will never live there again unless it's MAine,VT,or NH.
