In a better world you would be correct. Unfortunately or fortunately depending on which foot the shoe is on, a state does have the right to allow or banish certain elements the people or leaders of the state have chosen.

Same reason I can give no valid reason to visit D.C or N.Y. I probably won't be passing through Ma either for that matter.

They have made it very clear they don't want me or my money and that's that.

Still a damn shame though. Especially for a veteran.

I think there is a federal safe passage law when transporting from one point to another. I don't know the details, though.

Maybe someone with more knowledge will opine.

They said he wasn't "passing through" since he stopped at VA Hospital.

However, all charges were eventually dropped. Prob is, they've kept his guns still.
