Who's Going to NRA?

Anyone heading to Louisville next week for the NRA annual meeting? I'll be volunteering as an instructor on the air rifle range Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, so drop by and say hi if you are in town.

Here's a snippet about the exhibits: The exhibits in the Kentucky Expo Center will be open from Friday, May 16th, through Sunday, May 18th. The hours are 10 am to 6 pm on Friday, 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday.

The Exhibit Hall will contain one of the largest and best displays of firearms, accessories and related items in the country. Manufacturers and their representatives will be on hand -- you can discuss technical issues, handle arms and equipment and find out all the latest information. Many exhibitors will have items for sale (no firearms or ammunition). Extensive private collections will be displayed by NRA affiliated gun collector clubs. Hunting Guides and Outfitters will also exhibit in an exclusive outfitter section of the show.

Everyone I was with (including me) had a great time. A little too much rah-rah politikin going on with all the speeches, but the rest was great. I was in sensory overload much of the time. I went to the exhibit hall three times and I saw maybe 10% of what was there...

You will always have the rah rah politickin during an election cycle, especially a presidential year.

Good to see you, and I had a blast.

Was on the air rifle range for part of the day Saturday and got to teach a couple of kids how to shoot for the first time. Was a very rewarding experience.

And Glenn Beck was awesome.
