Does anyone here know anything about the beretta jetties 25 auto? I'm interested in maybe hunting one down but first wanted to see if it's even worth the hunt in the first place.

It was my first handgun and I still have it after 25 years. It was originally my uncles and passed to me after his death. It is the older version that lacks the safety. It is accurate and easy to shot despite its small size.

Mine has been through hell and back and still works every time. I still carry it on me 3 times a week when I am bicycling.

I did wear out the original magazine and I had to have it reblued. Even so, I refuse to retire it.

I also have one of the older versions without the safety. I'd recommend a Beretta over any other .25 that is currently made. I'm not impressed with the Taurus models that I have looked at and the Phoenix is going to be bigger and heavier, but I do like the Phoenix .22LR pistol for what it is for me...a fun plinker.

Great pistol, caliber isn't so hot but it is what it is, the sight's are visable, tip up barrel is a nice feature and the single action trigger pullis excellent. Other pistol's of it's size have become better option's now but the Jetfire is still a fine pistol with an excellent history.

I'm interested in either the jetfire or the phenix 25 autos. I've been to all the local gun shops in Clarksville and haven't seen any. Anybody got one of these up for sale?

Nologic, I recommend that you take a close look at the Taurus PLY 22, polymer framed, DAO tip-up barrel 22LR that is amazingly well made and ergonomic. Even better is that a new one is only slightly over the $200.00 mark. It's worth the money and 22LR ammo is inexpensive.

I'm on a very tight budget. I can not exceed 200 dollars. Pulse I hate Taurus personally. I wish I would have picked up that Phoenix 25 when I saw it at grandpas. Been looking for one ever since.

I already have more .25 acp pistols than I need, but if I didn't, I would definitely consider the Phoenix HP25. Actually, I might get one someday anyway, just not on the top of my list right now. :)
