Has anyone tried using the 42 rd. Pro-Mag AR 15 magazines. $ 20.00 at Academy Sports.

Next time I am around adademy I will pick on up. $20 for a 42 round range mag isn't a bad price. And if it is durable and cyces it would be a steal.

Unfortunately I suspect the ProMag is going to be a piece of junk based on most other ProMag magazines I have tried.

Talking about diggin up bones, I found this old thread while looking for something else, BUT I have at least 10 of these magazines and love them. They function flawlessly in my DPMS sportical. I have used them in numerous three-gun/rifle matches and they have not failed once. These magazines are the rare instance where I believe I got more than I paid for. It is funny, because on Cheaper than Dirt, they either get 5 stars or one star, so I guess they are rifle-picky, but my rifle loves them.
