Here is my new (to me) CZ 452 with BSA 8x32x40AO scope. Picked rifle up off GB and got the scope from Grafs. Am going to make this my slihouette rifle. Cant believe how nice these 452's are. Previous owner did some trigger work and it breaks under 1lb. Now to find a 452 American.

CZ. One of the most overlooked, underrated & under appreciated rifles out there. I have a 527 in 223. CZ makes top notch stuff. Nice score!!!

Those CZ Scout are really neat little rifles. I've been wanting one for some time now. They really aren't that tiny like many youth rifles...perfect size for a full grown kid.

Get one now while you still can if you want one new. CZ is discontinuing the 452 line from what I have been reading on rimfirecentral forum.

Nice, I have wanted a 452 for a while now. I will probably end up with a 455 though. As was pointed out to me on the forum it seems unlikely that CZ will start ruining rifles anytime soon and it would be cool to switch from lr to 17hmr.

Nice looking rifle. Really pretty wood on that one.

I have always 'liked' guns and grew up shooting long guns more often than handguns although I tend to shoot handguns more often, now. However, I was never really all that versed in the differences between various long gun configurations (longer barrel vs. carbine length vs. youth and so on.) As I have gotten more familiar with those different configurations, I am finding that I like the way that shorter (carbine) length rifles balance. Also, although I am not a small guy, I don't mind shooting 'youth' model firearms. I think maybe it is because I like using iron sights and tend to place my cheek pretty far forward on the buttstock to get closer to the rear sight. Youth models allow me to do so a little more naturally.

Got a Scout for the oldest about six years ago. Great rifle and not too small for adults. With decent glass this one shoots close to MOA, even at 100 yards.
