Need some prayers on the employment front.

Currently work for a company working second shift and a lot of weekends. Wife works day shift and we never see each other. Found a position working for her company and a few others that would allow me to get to a dayshift job. Just need some prayers. The job at her work sounds promising. A coworker talked to the director of the position I applied for and was supposed to get my app pulled. Hoping to here about an interview sometime this week. This will be a big change for me going from a food manufacturer working in operations to a credentialing job with a medical company. Hoping this will be the change we need in our lives. I've been terribly depressed never getting to see her.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. if anyone has any ideas on a dayshift position let me know. I've primarily been in manufacturing but am about 2/3 of the way through an accounting degree so I do have some business sense.

I feel your pain brother. I got married in July 2010, 2 weeks later my wife move 100 miles away to start med school. I've been searching for jobs the last two years but with no luck, at least nothing with benefits and enough salary to support two people. not seeing your spouse is tough to deal with. Here to you getting a job and bettering you family life. Prays to ya.

Prayers are with you, it is very difficult being separated from family,

I took a position at which I am underemployed. 70 hrs. is a short week, I have had on day off since my initial training week back in January. Have faith good things do happen to good people.

Change is on the horizon for me ;)

When I was first married, I travelled 50 weeks a year. It's hard.

After about two years, I made a move and started my own firm. It was tough starting out, but 7 years later I can definitely say it was the best decision for our family.

We'll keep your family in our prayers.

I worked for 3 years out of state. Got home every other weekend. It's rough. Praying thinks work out for you.

I worked away from my wife for 7 months while she was pregnant with our 1st. Not fun.

However, working at the same place as your wife can have pro's and con's... Consider that carefully.

Really appreciate the thoughts and prayers. Hoping to hear something this week. Sounds like I have a good shot. Supposed to have my app pulled and might have to do a phone interview first. That kinda worries me. I'd rather be there in person. Do really good in most interviews.
