Green River Gun Club, Sunday June 10th 3-Gun Match

Green River Gun Club, Bowling Green KY. will hold a double elimination, man vs man, 3-gun match on Sunday June 10th.

One stage with 2 shooters at one time. After 2 losses you are eliminated.

Minimum round count is 10 rifle, 10 shotgun (birdshot) and 10 pistol. If you keep winning the round count could be very high, depending on the attendence.

Equipment, divisions, etc. are still under discussion.

I will post an update as soon as we have finalized the rules.

Only one division. Shoot whatever you want.

Magazine capacities are 20 rounds rifle, 5+1 shotgun and 8+1 or 10+1 handgun ( normal IDPA capacity based on handgun division).

Alright, I think I have worked up the courage to come out and shoot an event like this. I would really hate to go home after two rounds. we will see

Yes, that is the downside of these type of matches. However, you are directly competing against another shooter and the pressure is completely different. It is fun and everyone should try it.

Do not pay attention to the other shooter.

Shoot slow, speed up.

Man vs man shooting is alot of fun!

80% is mental. The other half is ability.

DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE OTHER SHOOTER.

Only 80% mental? I'm thinking 90%. It's a real head game!
