My new (to me) carry gun.

It's a smith and wesson 3913NL. I'm pretty sure it was made in '91, but I'm not really 100 percent on that. I'm not a fan of polymer guns, so this suits me well.

I picked it up at a local pawn shop for 399, which seems to be a pretty decent deal, considering what they've been going for on GB. It was reallllllly dirty when I got it, though. Spent an hour or so cleaning her up and this is what I've got. I'm a big fan of the 3rd gen smith and wessons (even though I was in elementary school when they came out), and, really, S&W in general, so I'm pretty excited about finding this one.

Can't say that I've had that problem. I typically shoot handguns at 7/10/15 yard intervals and find that in most cases I'm pretty much getting 3" groups at 7 and 10 yards. At 15, I tend to widen, but The little Smith is as accurate as I am and better. I never claimed to be a marksman.

But seriously, no, I haven't had any issues I couldn't attribute to my skills or lack thereof.

Hmmm. Maybe it's the bullet weight or something. I was having issues hitting a 14" steel plate at 20ish yards, which is unusual for me. Of course, I wasn't using paper, so I can't be sure were the rounds were hitting, but with 3 different shooters we managed 4 hits out of 50, so that seems odd.

It's definitely a mechanical beauty, though, and i'll definitely be keeping it. Just need to tweak it a smidge.
