I'm sure that Chris Matthews got a thrill up his leg watching this.

If there are so many RP supporters, you would think he would be dominating the party

structure and Romney would be in at least 2nd or 3rd place overall.

This is getting tedious.

When somebody empties a magazine into their own foot, you can look at it two ways. You can view it as a tragedy, or you can see the humor in it. Sooner or later, they'll be screaming in pain, and hopping around on one foot. That's funny. I don't care who you are :pleased:

That is funny. :D

If he had some polish to his campaign and brushed up his presentation twenty years ago, he wouldn't

be like this at all, now, and could have become President. It's just too easy for the media and others

to make him into a loon. It's sad, really. I still like the man, just can't see anything but a losing scenario

for the country.

ArmyVeteran37214, you're efforts may be noble, but why now and not a couple decades earlier? The

same frothy message utilizes broken record mentality and enthuses fewer. Just think what it would have

been like if he had a good handler.

It's ashame elections are little more than popularity contests orchestrated by "handlers" these days, and not ideas or common sense.

Some people need a little polishing to get them ready for prime time, if you understand what I mean. If you

don't, run for office and see what I mean. You don't just stand around and wait for support. You have to sell yourself

and your ideas and convince people you are worth voting for. Handlers steer you in the right direction and put you

where you get the most visibility. That's not a bad thing like some people think. Good old Ron Paul could have seen

much benefit from the right handler.

This. And it would have been a very easy fix: Inject a little punctuation when speaking and BREATHE.

And maybe a little less handling and we wouldn't be where we are today. oh... scratch that... we always vote for the republican no matter how bad they are as long as the party tells us the other guy is worse. Of course this is the same game plan the Democrats use on their sheep, too.

Here's a question for all you Ron Paul wet blankets if you can even muster an answer. What if there were snowballs in hell and somehow RP did get the nomination. Would you support him as the Republican nominee as you seem to be willing to support Mr. Romney? Or, would you encourage Mr. Romney to run third party since obviously the nomination process was a screw up?

hum....

This election, I'd vote for whoever showed by credible polling to have the best chance of dethroning BHO. And I mean whoever -- including the candidate for the Communist Party, who would do less damage by having to acknowledge his platform going in.

It's that important to get this AntiChrist out of there.

If Ron Paul won the nomination I would absolutely vote for him. But I will not be voting for him, or anyone else, as a 3rd party candidate. I voted my conscience in the primary. In the general I will be voting to get Obama out of office. Anyone else is better.

Personally, if Ron Paul was the nominee I would also vote for him as many here would. But, I will tell you one thing, If RP was the nominee we would have a much different government in place that would be supporting him also.

I'm saying to have RP as the nominee we would also have many more in office who also think like he does AND the public would be more willing to support him too. BUT WE DON'T. And that's why he's running last.

Perot cured me of voting outside of the mainstream.

What is it about voting for some old people from Texas as third party candidates? First Perot and now RP. Did we not learn our lesson in '96?

I've said all along that I would support the last man standing in the Republican Primary process. It

appears you didn't pay attention to the fact that most of us maintained this throughout. Smartasses always

make statements that have no intellectual bite when they've lost the argument. You lost the argument.

You won't admit it.

The question really is: Will you gather up your toys and leave or will you unite with the rest to defeat a known

problem child in the White House?

The answer is not convictions. It was in the primary, but not now.

Ah, yes. I loved it when he addressed the "National Association for the Advancement of You People". :D
