New guy on the block

Just stumbled across this site while searching for some info. We're in Knoxville and moving to Nashville in a few weeks so my wife can finish up law school again (she did 5 years of law school in the Philippines and NSoL has a special program for people with foreign law degrees, I believe it only requires around 30% of the credits to be eligible to take the bar exam here in TN).

Anyways, we're fairly average and boring people.

What I was trying to find out was some information on a new process for CCL's. I read somewhere a couple of weeks ago that the state was looking into waiving the permit fees for veterans, and I cannot relocate that information now. Does anyone know if that went through or got shot down, or if it is still in the works?

Welcome aboard from another boring member. As for your question I did see something about that a while back,but not sure of all the specs. Somebody will probably be along soon that can help.
