Think I'm gonna swing by since I'll be in K-town tomorrow. My MIL lives about a mile from there so that will give me an excuse not to sit around her house.

These have always sounded soo much better than any of the mid-TN shows. I hope it doesn't let me down. If anyone spots me, HOLLA! I'll be wearing a #27 Al Wilson TN jersey.

I will be there with a semi auto Mac-11. I know I am going to get asked at least 100 times if it is full auto or if I can convert it. Going to be a long day because of that.

I had someone ask me how much a 10/22 was once. Told them $325 and there response was to ask if it was full auto. I told them no and they said they would only pay $200 and that was if I converted it for them. I just laughed and walked away.

I went, I saw, and I left with less than I went in with.

Saw some TGOers there had a good time. Seen some Mikes and a David and Gordon and a Mac and a Jim and about 10 Local guys from Rogersville.

David did something awful nice for my grandson today.

Man I can't get the smile off the kids face.

Thanks David. That was definitely over and above.

Got a score today. A stainless 12 twist 223 barrel that is 20" long. It is a lightweight profile so I can see another build coming up. Maybe a lightweight designated marksman type rifle. The guy tried installing the front sight himself and had it crooked. I am going to add a clamp on block so it is not an issue.

I also got 8 more pounds of the best 223 I have ever shot. It is the powder that David sells for $90 for 8 pounds. This stuff shoots clean and helped me shoot the smallest group out of my AR ever. He also has everything you need to load 223 as well as almost any caliber you can think of.

Was a pretty good show I thought. Some deals and good prices, other ridiculous.

Thanks David for the book & barrel!

Missed it today but got a call from a friend that said there was a guy there that looked enough like me that he went up and said hi to the guy and that guy freaked out on him. I wish I had gone to see a 5'6" guy yelling at a 6'5" guy. Not really sure what would have provked the guy to yell at my friend but it had to have been a sight to see.

I am glad to once again meet with you. Each time we meet I learn something. My wife enjoys talking with you as well. And as always the prices couldn't be beat by anyone.

And just so everyone else knows very few vendors have as much load and actually shooting experience as David. And the most important part about all of his knowledge is he gives it away freely to anyone who asks.

And that problem we discussed, it has been addressed.

Man what a show. I was just accidently in Knoxville today and dropped by. Spent a few minutes with David. I had picked up some stuff from him here in Nashville a couple of weeks ago. He told me this was the best show in TN and now I know why. They put Nashville area shows to shame. Plenty of most anything except I was looking for CZ pistols and never found a one.

If any of you were thinking about getting a few guys together and going, DO IT! I think you will be very glad that you did!

did not see any take downs, but then I was not really looking for them. Probably would have noticed though.
