Selling my Savage MK II .22lr for a Marlin XT-22TSR?

I bought a Savage MK II a while back just before Christmas. However I really wanted the Marlin listed above. Stainless, tube fed, bolt action, that is what I was looking for! But I had to settle for the Savage since I could not find the Marlin anywhere. Now on CheaperThanDirt, you can get the Marlin for $220 + shipping, or from BudsGunShop for $239 including shipping.

If I could handle the Marlin I could make my decision myself, but what do you all think? Also, the Savage is very close to mint condition, only 300 rounds down the barrel. I should be able to sell it and have a bit of cash left over if I buy the Marlin.

Input?

Which Mk II is it?

It is a newer one with the accutrigger and synthetic stock, stainless.

The savage is not worth 200 bucks used.

I suppose it'll be worth whatever someone pays for it, if I can get within $40 of the final price I may just do it!

i just picked up the Marlin XT22TR about a week ago (same as what you're looking at but not stainless) and it was actually a bit more than the savage MkII at my LGS ... but only by about $9

Are you satisfied with it?
