"I've been in here long enough to know what a guy can afford by looking at him," Williams said.

I can get a good look at a steak by sticking my head up a bull's......

I don't blame the guy for carrying, but he never should have shot. Of course at 76 I doubt he really cares. I remember my grandfather used to carry without a permit. He always said "What are they gonna do? Lock me up? I'm an old man!". He kinda had a point. I don't necessarily agree, but he had a point.

I know he shouldn't haved fire, but I don't understand how he was arrested for carrying...isnt that the same as carrying on your own property?

The story says that he followed the perp out of the store. I would guess that he left the store property when he did that.

I agree with the charges in this case. Maybe it will teach him a lesson about shooting at someone over mere property, and firing warning shots. What a dumbass!

Don't think he was the owner. I don't go to too many liquor stores, but I believe it said perps ran out by a side door. How many have a side door?

What an idiot.

That sums it up pretty well.

Probably never did any research about when he could/couldn't/shouldn't shoot.

I'm sure it was a heat of the moment thing. His knowledge of the laws probably wouldn't have affected his actions. I'm pretty sure it's common knowledge that you can't kill someone who is running away from you.
